Pam Ahluwalia has extensive experience of complex matrimonial disputes. Her practice has encompassed representing clients on a wide range of matrimonial disputes, including divorce, child support, child custody & visitation, alimony, division of property, domestic violence, prenuptial agreements, child support enforcement and modification, divorce grounds, and spousal and child abuse.

Born in India, and educated in the United Kingdom, Pam brings with her knowledge of the culture of the Indian subcontinent and is fluent in the Punjabi language.

Pam received her Bachelors of Arts (graduating with Honors) in 1986 from the University of East Anglia, UK. She graduated from the College of Law in England in 1991 and was admitted as an attorney to the English courts in 1995.

Pam has been licensed to practice law in Maryland since 2000 and is also admitted to the State Bar of California and in the United Kingdom.

Throughout her legal career, Pam has been actively involved in managing and providing voluntary assistance with Family Law Legal Advice Clinics and Hotlines, dealing with spousal and child abuse, divorce and financial arrangements. She served for five years as a member of the managing committee of a nationwide voluntary legal advice network, campaigning on change of legislation to afford abused non-married partners greater property rights in domestic abuse situations. She contributed to handbooks written for legal professionals and litigants in person dealing with domestic disputes, and she published articles in the area of family law. Pam also trained social workers and educational professionals on the impact of family law legislation.
